Western Visayas 58.2 percent level jobs sent per October 2011 labor force survey results (LFS) which was released by the Office for national statistics of income Division and Statistics work Thursday.
The latest survey results were lower than the performance of 94% recorded during the LFS July but higher compared with 92.4% were recorded as of the survey April 2011.
Unemployment in the region stood at 6.4%, 6% from the previous performance even though the percentage of underemployment stood at 13.9% latest, lower than% 15.2 noted last July. For a whole year, the NSO said the area 6 unemployment at 7.1% while underemployment at 26.7%.
